Baby First, in partnership with Bébe Vida – Ciências para a Vida, S.A., respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for, who we share it with, and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Portuguese law.

Who is responsible for your data

What data we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect the following data:

  • Identification and contact details — name, email, phone number, district.

  • Reproductive health data you voluntarily choose to share — such as your expected due date or week of pregnancy, used to personalise content and calculators.

  • Content you submit — comments on articles, shared real stories, event registrations and appointment requests.

  • "My Account" data — favourite articles, event registrations and video progress in the Academy.

  • Browsing data — IP address, device type and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

What we use your data for

We use your data to: create and manage your account; respond to contact and appointment requests; manage event registrations; moderate and publish comments and real stories you submit; send the newsletter and communications you have subscribed to; personalise content according to your stage of pregnancy or motherhood; and improve the operation and security of the site.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data based on your consent (for example, when you submit a form or subscribe to the newsletter), on the performance of a contract (when you create an account or register for an event), and on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and improving the user experience.

Sharing data with third parties

Some forms expressly state that, by submitting your data, you agree to it being shared with Baby First partners — namely Bébe Vida, for information about cryopreservation services — only when you give your explicit consent to do so. We do not sell your data to third parties. We may also use service providers (hosting, email delivery, traffic analysis) who process data on our behalf, always under instructions and confidentiality agreements.

This site uses cookies necessary for it to function and, when authorised by you, preference, statistics and marketing cookies, which help us understand how the site is used and show you more relevant content. Retention period
